Savannah River Cancer Foundation

Established in 2003, the Savannah River Cancer Foundation was formed to assist cancer patients in Aiken, Allendale, Edgefield, and Barnwell counties. As a non-profit organization the foundation runs off of donations and with the help of volunteers. Their mission is to provide support, education, understanding and hope to anyone battling cancer and their families. Through support groups, medical assistance and long lasting friendships the Savannah River Cancer Foundation is a wonderful asset to our community!

As Caring for Carolina Partners, Aiken Regional Medical Centers, Maxwell Law Firm and WJBF News Channel 6, we have dedicated one of our community projects to helping raise awareness for such a wonderful foundation. If you or anyone that you know needs assistance or would like to volunteer please contact the Savannah River Cancer Foundation.

The Savannah River Cancer Foundation and its support group, CanHope, are pleased to sponsor the fifth annual TREE OF HOPE program as their primary fund-raiser.

Lights on the tree at the Cancer Care Institute of Carolina represent tax deductible donations honoring cancer patients, their families and friends as well as those who have lost their battle.
